Moving Through Grief: Processing loss through the body
Join Gaby (grief movement guide and facilitator) from The Grief Cocoon for this gentle, guided session that will:
strengthen your connection with yourself, others, and who you’re grieving
give you body-based practices to support you through grief
provide an inviting and supportive space to share your grief and listen.
enable you to discover the impact of gentle somatic (movement) work designed to provide release and relief as you grieve
be heard, seen, and acknowledged
give you a healthy way to process your grief

The structure of the session:
Introduction and safety agreement: 10 mins
Feelings check-in: 5 mins
Guided movement sequence that incorporates breath work and movement: 25-30 mins
Open space for debrief, sharing and reflection: 10-15 mins
Closing feelings check-in: 5 mins
Please note: Everything is an invitation (not a must) and you’re welcome to move at your pace and adjust movements as need be. The movement exercises can be done seated, standing, or on a mat.

This session will not be recorded to maintain privacy and confidentiality of all group members.
